Just trying to find my way through ...

My photo

Mon arrière Tante Léonie demandait :
"Es-tu curieux ? Alors tu vivras longtemps !"

Still a lot to do in one life & time is running out

Life
Born in Singapore. Ten unforgettful years: sounds, flavors, tastes, colors, kindness, Chinese, Malayans, Indians, Europeans
No Brasil morei um tempo. Fazenda, cacau, cheiros tropicais, sabores
Un año en Venezuela. Encuentro de las Aguas del Río Caroní con el Orinoco
Living now in Switzerland, close to the Léman. Why call it Lake of Geneva ?

I love
J my wife, D my son, T and Z my litle daughters, family, ski mountainering, biking, travels (too little this past decade)

I hate
Anger, violence, perhaps myself too ..?

Curious about
Different Ways of Living, Humanity, Struggle for Life, Sense of Life, Finding my Own Way Out

I strongly believe
Mankind is able to produce the Best and the Worst !

I like
Communication, however do not communicate that well with me nor with others ...

So and what now ?
No idea where this blog will bring me to ...

And you ?
Tell me something about you, would you?

Cross Cutting: "New trend or new philosophical debate ?"

Discussion? Profanation? Marketing ? Proselitism ? Big philosophical debate !

I think that being religious or not in our countries (christian culture) it's nice to see a cross at the top of the mountain.

Does the cross at the summit necessarily vehicle a religious image (including but not limited to all violence linked to montheist religions)
If ou cut it off how ill you know you are there ?
Would you rather see there a Coca Cola advertisement or bottle distributor instead of the cross ?

Personally I like to see a cross when I arrive at the top of the montain after having swet a lot climbing with my skis. Beauty, sobriety and simplicity far away from churces and totally intergrated with mother nature.

At that moment I have this strange feeling to be closer to Nature (and God), whereas I admit to be rather agnostic or at leat anti-clerical.

Moreover I would decribe myself as a believer of "Human Manikind", the latter being able of the best, but also of the worse !"

There is a fantastic debate on camptocamp on this subject. Increadibly philosophical, funny and corrosive at same times. http://www.camptocamp.org/forums/viewtopic.php?id=169781&action=new .

Would be glad to have your comments on this subject.
